What is the Wolverine Blend?
The Wolverine Blend is a pre-combined, lyophilized research blend of two individually characterized peptides, BPC-157 and TB-500, supplied together in a single vial: 5 mg of BPC-157 and 5 mg of TB-500. It is intended for laboratories that study both compounds and prefer to work from one documented lot.
CAS numbers: BPC-157 137525-51-0; thymosin beta-4 77591-33-4. Molecular formulas: BPC-157 C62H98N16O22 (1419.5 g/mol); thymosin beta-4 C212H350N56O78S (4963.4 g/mol).
What’s in the blend
BPC-157 is a synthetic 15-amino-acid peptide based on a gastric-juice peptide first described in 1993 (Sikirić et al., 1993). TB-500 is the market name for a synthetic peptide associated with thymosin beta-4, a 43-amino-acid actin-binding protein found in most cell types. The published research below concerns BPC-157 and thymosin beta-4 and its fragments; it was not carried out on this blend.
Areas of laboratory research
- BPC-157 in tendon models. BPC-157 has been studied in rat Achilles tendon transection models and tendocyte cultures (Staresinic et al., 2003) and in tendon fibroblast migration studies (Chang et al., 2011).
- Thymosin beta-4 in rodent wound models. Thymosin beta-4 has been examined in rat full-thickness wound models (Malinda et al., 1999), and a synthetic peptide containing its actin-binding domain has been studied in diabetic and aged mouse models (Philp et al., 2003).
- The two together. A 2026 rat study compared BPC-157, TB-500 and their combination in an Achilles tendon model, with histopathological and biomechanical measurements (Biçer et al., 2026).

Quality and verification
Every HAUZ Research lot of the Wolverine Blend is independently tested for HPLC purity (99%+), identity by mass spectrometry, and endotoxin, and its certificate of analysis is kept in the COA Library. It is supplied as a lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder in a sealed vial. For research use only — not for human or veterinary use.
Frequently asked questions
What is in the Wolverine Blend?
Each vial contains 5 mg of BPC-157 and 5 mg of TB-500 as a lyophilized powder, for a total of 10 mg.
Has the Wolverine Blend itself been studied?
The blend as sold has not been the subject of published research. Studies exist on BPC-157 and on thymosin beta-4, and one 2026 rat study examined the two compounds in combination.
Is the Wolverine Blend approved for human use?
No. Neither component is an FDA-approved drug. The blend is sold for laboratory research only and is not for human or veterinary use.
Published Research Summary
The Wolverine Blend combines BPC-157 and TB-500 (a synthetic peptide associated with thymosin beta-4). BPC-157 has been studied in rat Achilles tendon models and tendocyte cultures (PMID 14554208) and tendon fibroblast migration in vitro (PMID 21030672). Thymosin beta-4 has been examined in rat wound models (PMID 10469335), and a peptide containing its actin-binding domain in diabetic and aged mice (PMID 12581423). A 2026 rat study compared BPC-157, TB-500 and their combination in an Achilles tendon model (PMID 42542926). The blend itself has not been studied.
